Hello,

My name is Terra Follick, and I am the National Internship Program Coordinator at the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). I am reaching out to let you know about the variety of drug treatment programs we have at the BOP, with the hope that you will share this opportunity to learn about those programs with your students. We are hosting an informational webinar on July 18 at 7 PM ET featuring a panel of current BOP drug treatment professionals who will share their experiences and provide an overview of the range of drug treatment programs available at the BOP, the impact those programs have, and the career growth opportunities associated with them. There is also a significant portion of time for students to get their questions answered live during our panel Q&A. Students can register for the event at this link.<https://afswebinars.webex.com/weblink/register/r1d3a1dba3a2211528b10f70f709b1afa>

The BOP currently has 120+ institutions nationwide, with a variety of drug treatment roles available: Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Psychologist, Drug Treatment Specialist, Drug Abuse Program Coordinator, and many more. Within these roles are numerous opportunities to leverage what students have learned and gain essential, transferable skills—all while making a significant contribution in the lives of others. In addition to implementing impactful drug treatment programs, students who start their drug treatment career with the BOP will enjoy steady employment, federal government benefits, and ample leadership opportunities.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information. Thanks so much for your time and support!
