Dear Dr. Riggs,

I am a clinical social worker and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD). I am emailing to invite students in SHSU's clinical counseling Master's program to submit poster presentations to share during ISSTD's 41st Annual Conference<https://annualconference.isst-d.org/> in Frisco, Texas, which will take place from March 21 to 25, 2024.

This year's theme is the Healing Power of Dignity in the Treatment and Research of Complex Trauma and Dissociation. This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their work as well as to learn from and connect with fellow students, clinicians, and researchers in the field from around the world. The call for proposals is open now through August 15th, 2023. Information about poster submission may be found here: https://annualconference.isst-d.org/presenter-guidelines/poster-instructions/

We anticipate opening a second call for posters in December 2023 with a deadline in January 2024, should students need additional time to prepare a submission. Registration for this conference will open in early November, and we offer discounted student rates. Please feel free to reach out to me or info at isst-d.org<mailto:info at isst-d.org> with any questions you may have.

Sincerely yours,

Michael
