Please see below for a Leadership Travel Award through the APA.

Graduate Student SPTA Leadership Travel Award for the 2024 APA Convention

Division 31 and the Caucus of State, Provincial and Territorial Representatives (CSPTR) is pleased to provide travel awards to attend the 2024 APA Convention. This collaborative effort by Division 31 and CSPTR of the APA Council of Representatives promotes the development of graduate student SPTA leaders by supporting participation at APA Convention and at Division 31 SPTA Convention programming.

Division 31 and CSPTR will provide two travel awards in the amount of $750 each to defray the costs of in-person attendance at the 2024 APA Convention in Seattle, WA.

Application requirements are as follows:

1. Graduate students with posters or presentations that have been accepted for the 2024 APA Convention.

2. Graduate Students who are current APAGS members.

3. Graduate Students must have demonstrated participation in SPTA leadership.

4. The graduate student is attending APA Convention 2024 in-person.

To apply, please send an abbreviated CV (3 pages max), a letter of recommendation by a SPTA leader, supervisor or advisor. A 300 word or less essay describing SPTA leadership involvement, and documentation of acceptance of conference proposal. The selected students will be determined by a committee comprised of members of Division 31 and CSPTR.

The deadline for submission is May 15, 2024 at 11:59pm EST.
