We work with patients who need long term specialty care as they transition from the acute care hospital and begin their journey toward recovery. All of our facilities are led by caring teams of physicians and staff who are patient-centered and family-focused. <br><br>Our interdisciplinary approach to treatment is led by a select group of dedicated physicians who are committed to providing quality care. The staff from each facility works closely with our physicians to ensure that every patient gets the most personalized, compassionate and effective care possible. <br><br>Our staff provides on-going communication and education to patients and their families throughout their stay. We believe that the family is an important part of the treatment plan as well as the healing process, and encourage family participation as much as possible. <br><br>We are looking for a LPA or LCSW to work at the Touchstone Neurorecovery Center just north of the Woodlands in Conroe TX. <br><br>Touchstone Neurorecovery Center is a 60 bed residential neurobehavioral programs and has met all the requirements and complies with the standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Touchstone is certified by the State of Texas as a Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) vendor and is certified by the State of Texas to provide Crime Victim Services. In addition, it is among one of only about 25 facilities in the nation, and the only in the Houston area, to be awarded a contract by a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide veterans with comprehensive brain injury rehabilitation services. Through the Assisted Living for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (AL-TBI) Pilot Program, the VA provides selected private civilian health care entities with funding to deliver specialized recovery support in a more home-like environment. <br><br>A successful candidate will provide neurocognitive rehabilitation (for acquired brain injury, CVA, SCI, limb loss, neurodegenerative disorders, etc) and individual/family counseling under the supervision of a clinical neuropsychologist. In addition, close collaboration with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams is expected. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:10.0pt'><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black'>The position is currently open.
