<p class="MsoNormal">Purpose Statement:The following presentation will discuss the physical, cognitive, and behavioral sequelae of mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) and its impact on diagnosis, assessment and treatment. The presentation will focus on empirically-validated
research performed in this area. In addition, information will be provided to assist in the planning for potential long-term concerns and outcomes upon community re-entry for patients with post-concussive syndrome secondary to MTBI.

<p class="MsoNormal">1. To provide an understanding of the physical and behavioral needs of a patient following MTBI, as well as differentiate the presentation and course of MTBI from moderate to severe brain injury.<o:p></o:p></p>
