<p class="MsoNormal">This is a 3-credit hour course that meets at the Teacher Education Center in Huntsville on nine Wednesday evenings, and on-line assignments from 4:30 to 8:50.

<p class="MsoNormal">Students will develop an understanding of clinical hypnosis as applied to counseling and clinical work. In class Dr. Bruhn will rely heavily on discussion and large amounts of experiential exercises involving hypnotic induction processes
in both individual and small groups. Students (and instructor) will practice the roles of hypnotic operator and client. The instructor will demonstrate hypnotic inductions for the class to observe and discuss. Each student will be expected to develop his or
her own skills with hypnotic inductions and the use of hypnotic principles in counseling situations.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Students are expected to be highly active participants in the course. While there is plenty of reading involved, there is an emphasis on experiential activities and written reflections related to course objectives.<o:p></o:p></p>
