Hey gang,
	I hope everyone had a great 
summer. Also, congratulations to our 
new members! This semester is going to 
be very eventful for Sigma Tau Delta so 
please participate in whatever you can. 
For those of you who missed our meeting 
Monday, here is what we covered.
	First of all, our Vice 
President Joe will be organizing our 
volunteer work at the Huntsville Arts 
Festival October 25th. Volunteers are 
needed for various shifts throughout 
the day and a free t-shirt will be 
given to the volunteers. This will be 
our first service project and it will 
be very rewarding. Remember the 
deadline is 9/22/03 so please let 
either Joe or our President, Amy know 
if you would like to help as soon as 
possible!
	Second, we have our first 
poetry reading this Wednesday, 9/17! 
Those of you who have attended these in 
the past already know that we have very 
talented poets come in to read their 
original work. Everyone is welcome to 
participate or simply relax and enjoy 
the reading. It will be at Kaldi's from 
7-9pm. 
	Now! For the last but 
definitely not least, we have a MEET 
AND GREET PARTY next Thursday, 9/25! 
Free appetizers will be provided by 
Sigma Tau Delta so come meet your 
fellow members and discuss other 
upcoming events that will be occurring 
this fall semester. This will  be an 
exciting semester for our organization 
so be as active as you can and good 
luck with all of your classes!
