Hi everyone, I would like to let you 
in on the minutes of our 9/27 Chapter 
Meeting. 
If you still would like to volunteer 
for the Huntsville Arts Festival on 
October 25th, we still need four more 
volunteers! 
On Wednesday, Oct. 29th the Def Poet 
Jason Carney will be performing in the 
LSC ballroom. Also, we will have our 
second Poetry Reading coming up for 
HALLOWEEN! It will be in the Pit and 
the theme of course is "Hallowing 
Sounds." 
The scholarship information seminar 
and graduate studies seminar will be 
sometime in mid October. Definate time 
and date will be announced at the Oct. 
13th Chapter Meeting.
Joe, our Vice President will be chair 
of our new Short Story Club so please 
let us know if you are interested in 
participating.
Chapter Meetings from now on will be 
every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month 
at 4:30p in Evans 460. October dates: 
13th and 27th. November dates: 10th 
and 24th.
An extra reminder- The National 
Conference deadline for submission of 
papers is October 28th. Submissions 
must be revised by Dr. Fox which means 
that they must be turned into her(EV. 
452)by Oct.21.
