Hi, Dr. Dowdey. It's Robyn Muñoz.

If we're selling shirts in the mall area on Wednesday September 24th from 10-2, I should be able to do about a 2 hour shift. I have classes that day, but the first starts at noon. Like I said, I can do about a 2 hour shift but would have to leave about 10 minutes before noon.

Hope to see you soon.
Robyn Sue Muñoz

Subject: [Sigtaudelt] First Meeting and First Fundraiser

Dear Sigma Tau Delta members,
Welcome back! We have an exciting semester planned for the organization this fall. Our first official meeting will be Friday, September 26, at 5 p.m. in Evans 105. We will be electing officers then and discussing our scheduled events. Immediately after the meeting, at 6 p.m. we will be showing Dead Poet’s Society as a tribute to Robin Williams. Popcorn will be available for $1 a bag. All money will be donated to Robin William’s charity, St. Jude’s Hospital. Please invite your friends and fellow students to attend the movie.

We will once again be selling our Banned Books t-shirts in the mall during Banned Books Week Sept. 22-26. We plan on having a table out there on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10-2 and Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 10-2. Please let me know if you can work a shift during this time.

You may currently submit an application for a Sigma Tau Delta scholarship at english.org. You will be able to submit a paper for the Sigma Tau Delta International Conference beginning Sept. 29. The conference will be in Albuquerque, NM March 18-21, 2015.

The time to begin writing an article is when you have finished it to your satisfaction. By that time you begin to clearly and logically perceive what it is that you really want to say.
