Wednesday, October 7th at 5:30 in Evans 460
The Writer’s Forum is a fun and respectful environment where creative
writers can enjoy the constructive feedback of their peers, polish their
editing skills, and enjoy like-minded company. Bring multiple copies of up
to 10 double spaced pages of your own creative work—all genres and mediums
are welcome. If you have questions or concerns, or need help printing,
contact Julian Kindred at jek014 at shsu.edu.
*Hispanic Heritage Month*
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Texas Poet Laureate Carmen
Tafolla joins us at The Woodlands Center on Wednesday October 7, 6:00pm and
on Main Campus on Thursday Oct 8, 11:00 in Academic Building IV Room 220
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the SHSU Department of History

and Social Sciences

share a number of her poems and motivational messages.
