Welcome back to the spring semester!
After an icy start, the semester seems to be finally in full swing. We will be having our first meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 pm. In Evans 460. We have several events and ideas we need to plan for during this semester, so come with your calendars and ideas.

* 2018 marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The university is sponsoring a year-long celebration. How can we be involved?

* The National Book Awards Festival is April 16<http://www.shsu.edu/academics/english/creative-writing/national-book-awards/>. Sigma Tau Delta needs to provide volunteers for events.

* We need to schedule our spring semester initiation. Are you telling people about Sigma Tau Delta and inviting them to join?

* Bake sale fundraiser for Valentine's Day or later in the semester?

*         Other fundraisers
I hope to see you, Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 pm. Please come later if you have class or work that doesn't let out until later. Refreshments will be served.

The time to begin writing an article is when you have finished it to your satisfaction. By that time you begin to clearly and logically perceive what it is that you really want to say.
