The English Department is initiating a series of podcasts and/or videos of a student and a professor discussing a work of literature. The focus will be on works of literature that one reads for pleasure. Sigma Tau Delta members are being invited to participate in this series, so this is your chance to find out what your favorite faculty member reads for pleasure. You could also ask a faculty member to discuss one of your favorite books with you.
A list of questions has been drawn up that you may use to help you guide the discussion. The podcasts or video interviews will be available on the English department Facebook page and Youtube channel. They will be recorded in our new IRIS laboratory with the staff responsible for recording and editing.
If you are interested in participating in this project, please contact Dr. Bilsing at eng_teb at shsu.edu<mailto:eng_teb at shsu.edu>. This would be a great credential for your professional portfolio or graduate school application.

The time to begin writing an article is when you have finished it to your satisfaction. By that time you begin to clearly and logically perceive what it is that you really want to say.
