The deadline to submit to the Sigma Tau Delta convention is Oct. 29. If you presented at the SCLA conference, consider submitting the paper for the Sigma Tau Delta convention as well, where it will be eligible for cash prizes. The convention is March 27-30, 2019 in St. Louis. Expenses are paid by our chapter, the English department, and the university.

On Oct. 31, we need members who can supervise the Frankenreads reading of Frankenstein in Evans 212 from 9 am until 5 pm. Please visit our Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/sigtaudeltshsu/ to sign up.

Also please sign up to read yourself. If you read, you will be given a ticket for a barbecue meal that begins at 5 pm and entered for a chance to win the annotated, illustrated edition of Frankenstein. Sign up here:

The time to begin writing an article is when you have finished it to your satisfaction. By that time you begin to clearly and logically perceive what it is that you really want to say.
