to participate once again with SHSU’s Delta Delta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta in a National Novel Writing Month contest. Discussions of making this contest an annual event are ongoing, but for now, any SHSU student may participate for a chance to attend the
Guild’s Annual Writer’s Conference in April of 2016 with their hotel room paid for and a chance to sit down and share their work with a literary agent.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 8pt"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">NaNoWriMo is an organization that seeks to celebrate writing and encourage authors by applying pressure through a set deadline and daily word count. As a participant, your
goal is to write 50,000 words in 30 days, STARTING FROM SCRATCH. You may have as many notes written as you want, your subject matter can be about anything, but YOU CANNOT START YOUR NOVEL BEFORE NOVEMBER 1. You will need to words a day to make this goal.<o:p></o:p></font></font></p>
