ALCON, As a summary of this morning's actions; I inspected the drinks printer which is a STAR TSP100IVSK. When printing the configuration report, it consistently reported that it didn't obtain an IP address through DHCP. Looking through ISE, it does appear that the printer is profiled correctly and is being granted access to the correct network. It looks like the printer has DHCP timeout enabled and is unable to self recover when it does not receive an IP address offer during the authentication phase. In contrast, the working printers which are STAR TSP650 appear to have their hardware switches set to disable DHCP timeout. They therefore wait until a DHCP offer is extended and correctly connect to the Aramark network segment. With that information, I asked if there were any spare TSP650 printers to replace the drinks printer with. After sourcing one, I created the record in our CMDB system and ensured it would be cleared onto the Aramark network segment and by extension be able to reach the internet. The printer was then reclassified as the drinks printer. At the time of this email, the printer is correctly authenticating onto the network and is showing to be holding a correct IP address in ISE. Hey Matthew, Yes, I had to double check on some of the items listed here as we do not carry monitors on their own. With that being said I'm attaching a quote of the available items. The 24" KDS monitor is the entire bundle (Monitor, chromebox, bump bar) not just a monitor. Most campuses will source their own monitors. I can source/order it for you, but it'll just be ordered through amazon. Not sure if you prefer to order this yourself, but again, happy to order this for you. As for a tech to install this, I just need some additional information as this tech will be provided via our partner, Insight. What is the targeted install date? Will you need this tech to mount any monitors, drill into walls/counters? Please let me know if you have any questions.
