I'm pleased to announce that Alan Mikolaj will defend his thesis
proposal, 

Effects of Temporal Distance and Temporal Focus on Affective Predictions

In AB4 420, at 1:00 on Tuesday, April 19.


I'm not sure what the title means, but the project has something to do
with the extent to which people varying in social anxiety can predict
how they'll feel as a daunting public address draws near.  Seems pretty
cool.
