Hey folks. The English department is bringing two more job candidates 
to campus in the next couple of weeks. Next is Denise Kohn, who will be 
available to meet with students at 3:00 on Thursday the 29th (that's 
tomorrow). This could be your future professor, and we'd love to have 
students meet her. Please let me know if you'd be able to spare 30 
minutes or so.

That said, please don't tell me you're going to be there if you're not 
sure you can make it. Five students told me they would be there to meet 
Tammy Schneider on Monday afternoon; only two showed up (big thanks to 
those two!). That's embarrassing, and makes the whole department look 
bad. In general, it's better never to commit to anything than to commit 
to something and then not follow through...
