This Wednesday (3/5) is the deadline for submitting to the Sam Houston State Review. The SHS Review is the literary magazine for the SHSU community (students, faculty, staff, alums). We accept all kinds of creative writing: poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, plays. Submissions may be made in multiple categories, but should not exceed 5 poems, 1 short story, 1 essay, and 1 play. Any interested member of the SHSU community should submit work as an attachment to shsreview at shsu.edu

The SHS Review will be published at the end of the semester. It is a terrific publication opportunity, especially for students. Having a strong submission pool also helps the Practicum in Publishing students, who work on the review.

An electronic flyer is attached. Please spread the word and encourage submissions.
