Help with Monotone Singing

[MT-PRO Music Therapy List]

have you tried having her talk in a high and low voice: ex, say "yoo-hoo" in 
a high and
low voices spontaneously or say the "yoo" in a low voice and "hoo" in a high 
voice.
Do it at different tempos and pitch levels, preferably at one she'll have to 
match.
